Many people are sensitive to EMFs. My wife is one.
I had a tussle when a water meter guy came to our house to install a smart meter.
I was in bed sick and my husband let the guy in. I swore at him, jumped out of bed and went down the stairs hacking from the bottom of my soul - and I had a CRAZY gross cough going - I asked the guy if he was installing a smart meter, and he wouldn’t give me a straight answer.
Claimed ours wasn’t working - bull - and so I told him that I had a chronic health condition requiring med equipment which my doctor had advised me would be disrupted by a smart meter. Then I let loose with another batch of horrid coughs. He told me he didn’t want my flu, and I responded that he “couldn’t get what I had”. I told it it was a symptom of my condition and then coughed and coughed until he literally RAN out of the door.
When I called the water co to have the old meter reset, the new guy that came informed me that the last guy had cut the wire on the outside of the house! So, he fixed it and reinstalled our old meter which he said worked just fine.
So, yes I lied about medical equipment. Sue me. They lied about my meter being broken in order to instal a spy meter. I had heard that the new meters DO interfere with certain med equipment and health conditions, so I used that excuse to keep my old meter.
