It won’t go well for us, either, if this gets into “The Wild” inside the U.S.
It will only take about ten cases (orless) before the healthcare workers start not showing up, and 100 or more would overwhelm the level 4 facilities.
Little wonder that DC is trying hard to downplay this.

If I had been told 20 years ago that we would have an out-of-control Ebola outbreak in West Africa, and which was starting to make inroads in the Western world, and the political and media class would be bending over backwards to trivialize it, and the medical and other on-the-ground responses would be described, at best, lackadaisical and careless, I would simply not have believed it. This is Ebola, the virus that you just don't monkey around with. Sometimes, it is better to be lucky than good. At this point, I think we all need to just hope that we are lucky.
