Well isn't that just lovely. His children may have been exposed. But if it is true that he entered Duncans room without any PPE he was taking a huge risk. No matter what you hear elsewhere, in it's final stages when one is vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding from open openings, this virus is extremely contagious. That can't be emphasized enough.
He was ordered in without being informed of the risk, apparently.
Yes-the body is trying to expel the virus anyway it can and it not only gets into the cells, but it somehow breaks out of them and just takes over(I just read about that last night- and that they don’t know “how” the virus does that)...A person with any symptoms IS the virus on two legs; that’s how I would look at it. Even just a fever causes sweating-release of a body fluid...
If-as the CNN Medical person says-Ebola “does NOT live longer than 3 hours on a surface”-why are they decontaminating the apartment and destroying all of their belongings??
Actions speak louder than words when it comes to this stuff is what I believe...oh my The Rev is on-I’ll have to sign off as I don’t want to miss a word of his expertise on Ebola and bodily fluids.../s
I'll bet it's contagious right before symptoms break out too... symptoms are usually a sign the body's mounting a defense against a virus.
Remember a few days ago when people were making fun of parents pulling their kids from school? Saying they were panicking? Maybe 'prudent' would be the better term.
