The disease is spreading at perfectly geometric rates in several African countries. These outbreaks are far past containment, and will only be controlled if there is a “cure”, or if the disease runs out of uninfected population.
Second:
People are freely moving from these infected countries to locations around the world. Infected people. They are not being checked for the virus. They are being asked if they feel okay, and sent HERE.
Third:
“Abundance of caution”. This instance is costing millions of dollars. It is not an “abundance of caution”, they are reacting with these resources because they are afraid.
