So it could exist for years in a spa or gay bath house.
Oh for heaven’s sake———gross!
.
any confirmation of this from our Friends in Texas?
Maybe someone should post this to the main page, so people can try to run it down. Have work to do, so can’t spare the time here.
Fox news was talking about that today. How it was there for 3 days.
The vomit could have vaporized into the closed off rooms and been either breathed in or cause virus to splash them by way of breeze or use of a air conditioner or heater. The intake of a unit could maybe draw virus in the ducts and all over everyone.
IF he’s got it, my vote goes to the vomit on the sidewalk as a source. Probably stepped in it on his way in/out of the apt.
Sorry. Please see post#373. I should have included you in the “to:” Glad you’re feeling better. Go easy on the nanomachines.
Walking dead zombies are always gross.
Perhaps the increase in folks running fevers is contributing to global warming?
I agree seems strange. These officers either don’t have ebola, the family is just having a very long incubation period, the officers got very very unlucky, or the family asked the officers to bag all the soiled linen for them.
vomit does not vaporize...
I’m thinking the helicopter hovering overhead taking the pictures probably didn’t help with containment of the fomites either.
+1.
Another bomb dropper.
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Ain’t we got fun...

In more ways than one... these days are long and gone. Such a shame. Wholesome has been removed from the dictionary.
Oh how I love those movies. Love the days that made them, and the days they represent.
I miss the days I never knew.
I just came back from the other CareNow facility in Frisco (Don’t ask). While I was sitting there they were informed that the location where the possible Ebola case was, was closed down for the night, and will be closed for at least 24 hours while they decontaminate.
This is curious, since they did open up today a few hours after the patient left. Either they didn’t follow the right protocol and opened up again too soon, or there was some news about the condition or test results of the patient.
Same here. Way before my time, but I love the old black and whites where there was dialogue and a moral compass. Movies turned dark in the 1960 and they have been darker ever since.
People say I want to go back to the 50s. Not exactly, I want to go back to 1962, the year I graduated from high school. . before 1963. . lots happened that year. .Things haven't been the same since. . just look at Drudge tonight. . everything is a mess. . none of this was going on in 62'.
Indeed. Take a look sometime, give it some thought. I really cannot think of a single aspect of life that did not go downhill, as in watershed, during the ‘60s.
Even the dogs went bad. No, I am not kidding.
