CNN: Top U.S. Officials Say Fall of Kobani Would Be 'Not a Big Concern to Us'
By Jillian Kay Melchior
The fight Kobani is becoming increasingly desperate for the Kurdish troops trying to prevent the Syrian border town from falling into the hands of the Islamic State, CNN reports now:
The key Syrian border city of Kobani will soon fall to the Islamist terror group ISIS, several senior U.S. administration officials said.
They downplayed the importance of it, saying Kobani is not a major U.S. concern.
But a look at the city shows why it would mark an important strategic victory for the Islamic mlitant group. ISIS would control a complete swath of land between its self-declared capital of Raqqa, Syria, and Turkey a stretch of more than 100 kilometers (62 miles).
As Time.com put it, If the ISIS militants take control of Kobani, they will have a huge strategic corridor along the Turkish border, linking with the terrorist groups positions in Aleppo to the west and Raqqa to the east.

Absolutely tactless! Have they no sense that these people are fighting for their families, homes and land?

Interesting.
I began to become ashamed of our nation at right around the same time Michele Obama first became proud of it.

(This is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire; or both.)

She doesn’t name any of the Administration officials. That’s not helpful. Maybe one of them is Jarrett?
To: RinaseaofDs
Psaci or however you say it, said it.

Must have come from another source. The original article didn’t mention her by name.
To: GonzoII
It certainly would not be a big concern to the Sultan in Washington. The people of Kobnani are regarded as Apostates.

Incredible.
Just screw those people and leave them to die. Good God, these people are evil.

Jarrett IS the Administration. The Sultan does what sultans do. He plays and goes to his American version of his Hunting Lodge while the government is run by his Vizier. The VIzier is all powerful and all controlling except if he displeases the Sultan. Classically if the Vizier screws up the Sultan has him strangled, in the case of the Ottomans or the Andalusians, or halved, in the case of the Mamelukes.

Jen Psaki, just another one of the revolving dimwitted liberal drones Obola has in his rotating staff of fools.

If ISIS took over Mexico City it would not be of concern to these rapscallions either.

That’s her new name - The Vizier.
Well done.

Why would the Kurds ever trust the U.S. after this? And why should we trust the Turks after this?

That statement came from John Kerry, Secr of State. My question is can we trade him for the Kurds in Koboni?

It would be a big deal to the Roxanne Brigade, the fighting Kurdish women in Kobani who keep a single bullet for themselves for when they fall prisoner.
