So afraid you are right.

There is a huge amount of pent-up anxiety and anger among parents, both homeschoolers and not, with regard to education right now.

Everyone I know, regardless of party or philosophy, wants to get rid of Common Core.

I was at a meeting of homeschoolers today, and it was one of the topics everyone kept going back to. We're all concerned that we'll be forced into Common Core testing. Friends with children in public schools post their concerns about Common Core on their Facebook pages.

If the RINOs and GOP-e gather with the Democrats on this or other education issues, they are just throwing votes in the garbage.

Mrs. Barbara Bush was asked once about homeschooling and said she didn’t think it was a good idea, or something to that effect. This from a woman whose kids all went to expensive private schools.

Yes, the Republican establishment dislikes homeschoolers. I saw that when I worked on a campaign for a Republican running for the Senate. There were 2 distinct camps - the conservatives, including many homeschool teens, who did all the work, and the establishment types, who showed up in the last week when it was apparent our candidate would win, started bossing all the homeschool kids around, and tried to take credit for the win afterwards.
