Who do you think figures out whenever there is a multi-state food poisoning incident and puts a stop to it? Who do you think collects disease data and figures out there is a problem, such as the current EV68 outbreak spreading across several states? Who do you think comes and does the epidemiological investigation for unusual diseases and tracks down where the diseases originate so they can be stopped at their sources?
