Most of us, who are conservative, feel exactly the same way...if you don’t agree with everything I think and say, you aren’t a complete conservative.
If you have any principles and morals, there is not a whole lot of choice in the matter. Some of those principles may allow for discretion, but it is usually very narrow.
That is not the issue Mark seems to be hammering. He is insistent you believe his version of history and his solution to our current problems. History is a scholarship issue that is not merely settled by the number of books written supporting one view. Nor is the best solution to a problem a given because someone is a lawyer and has radio show.
I agree with Mark on many things but he is getting outright obnoxious at times, especially when he is wrong or has some bone-headed idea.
People who think for themselves will never agree on everything.
Unlike those who march lockstep with a certain dogma or belief.
By it’s own nature, that is why the the republican party is splintered.
It is like trying to “herd a bunch of cats”.
It is an association of people who don’t like to belong to associations.
