What I'm talking about are large databases that the Dems have that they use to micro-target on an incredibly granular/small level.
Here's a good article on Catalist, one of the databases they have. Really scary stuff in terms of how much information on people it sucks in (and from where), and then how that can be used to maximize voter turnout in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. Worth reading every word of the 3-page article ...
