Miami? I’d have thought that to be a first vector, or Houston, but not Dallas until we learned of the 10K Liberian enclave there.

There are no direct flights from Liberia to Dallas, TX. That particular guy probably made at least one stop in the US before eventually landing in Dallas.

There have been quite a few around some ski resorts for at least 15 years or so, and there were said to be about 10,000 of 'em in Texas. The migration of labor has been going on for some time.
