Interesting. “God hates...” I’ve not read that in the Bible. I could be wrong, though.

There are a couple of verses where the term “Hate” is used directly. They\ term is in the KJV. Usually the term “abomination” is used, one of its meanings is hate.

Search the Old Testament for “will not forgive.” It is only used once.

Proverbs 6:16-19Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 These six things the Lord hates, indeed, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who breathes out lies [even under oath], and he who sows discord among his brethren.

There's a LOT of "God hates..." in the Bible. I did this with an 8th grade religion class once: I made a pile of slips of paper with chapters and verses written on them leading to such passages, and each of my students was to look up the passage, stand up in class, and read it in context (i.e. with the verse before and after) CLEARLY AND WITH EXPRESSION.
It was a stunning experience for them. As it would be, maybe, for you. IIRC, God says he hates false idols, He hates prayer and holy days celebrated without sincerity, He hates sacrifices without justice, and more than a dozen times, He hates those who shed innocent blood.

Yea that was my first thought after reading the headline.
It is more like "Things that bring sorrow to God".
