No matter what is said about the health care here in the US,it cannot be beat.
A co-worker told me years ago, about an uncle in Asia, that needed to have some cardiac work done.
He needed to come up with $50,000,which he didn’t have ,but he could get enough money for a plane ticket to Houston,where they have a world class cardiac center. Being without funds, he knew he would receive his care for free.
That's odd since cardiac procedures in Asia rarely cost more than $15,000, even now. Often under $5,000.
