Two points here:1. Churches will hire people like this.
2. God is not mocked or pleased.
That being said. After 40 years of graduating from seminary myself it is sad to see this leftward slide that seems to be accelerating rather than going back to traditional Christian orthodoxy where they ought to be going at this time.

my brother joined a small pcusa church in PA that is currently exiting from the PCUSA as that denomination has gone completely unitarian. The pastor said that when she was in to a PCUSA divinity school decades ago it was controlled by the homosexuals.
