There have been several acting Surgeon Generals lately (last 10 or 12 years). Regina Benjamin wasn’t an “acting” SG and was in the position for almost 4 years before she resigned—why did she resign? She was a black pro-abortion Catholic. The current acting Surgeon General is Boris Lushniak, a Chicago native of Ukrainian descent.
