If anyone thinks that it is too cynical to think that the government will do nothing in their power to help, please consider AIDS in the early 1980s. When AIDS was a completely unknown gay disease spreading quickly through the San Fransisco bathouses, health authorities prudently wanted to shut down the bathouses, but gay activists fought back, and politicians like Diane Finestien kept the bathouses open. Thus AIDS was the first disease to win civil rights.
Does anyone think that Ebola, coming from a black country, will not have civil rights?
Politically correct people + Ebola = A whole lot less politically correct people.
