Liberals tend to devote a significant portion of their daily lives to proving how not racist they are. One particularly expedient way of doing this is to declare that something a conservative has said or done is totally racist, and then to place oneself in opposition to the thing that was racist: “See, I’m not a racist!”

As result, the List of Things That Are Racist has grown incomprehensibly long. The Free Beacon‘s devotion to public service obligates us to provide this list (not exhaustive by any means) of what liberals do and do not consider to be racist.

And I take every opportunity I get to remind them that the slave owners, Confederates and segregationists were RATs, and that the Abolitionists became "The Republicans".

If we Conservatives are going to be consistent, the attitudes and actions of long dead Democrats are no more relevant today than is the fact that many of today's blacks have ancestors who were slaves (of whites or of other blacks).

We Conservatives should have the motto, "Judge me by my character & actions. I will do the same for you."

Were all equal, but SOME are more equal than others. No matter how much the majority of citizens bend to the demands of the minority, it will never be enough.

I think Democrat politicians are more disrespectful of Republican Presidents--because they know they can get away with it without being jumped on by the media (which shares their disdain). Obama was particularly egregious in the 2008 campaign with his sneering comments about "old Bush" (meaning the incumbent President). Probably Clinton was just as bad but I don't recall specifics from 1992.

When Hillary was in the Senate she flashed a newspaper front page that had in huge letters "Bush Lied" for all to see.

Meanwhile other Democrats were calling him a chimpanzee, and so on.
