Scouter's Ebola Projection Update - 10/4/2014 - (Vanity)
To: Vendome; scouter My wife just flew into Newark from Brussels. Been waiting on the plane for 1 1/2 hours now to deplane. Medical emergency onboard with a passenger vomiting.
They have to wait for the CDC to come interview the person before they can leave.
Consider travel plans carefully.

“you can flag the passports, perhaps keep those who may have had contact with infected people in quarantine for 3 weeks”—so you would settle for self-reporting as to whether anyone has had contact with infected people?
You can check passports before passengers board flights, even if they are not on the direct flights that do indeed still operate. So why not simply ban anyone from flying in—unless they are returning Americans, and then requiring them to wait three weeks either elsewhere abroad or in quarantine that they pay for? Oh, and yes, why not stop what remaining direct flights there are, as well?
You keep posting nonsensical statements to these threads both denying the direct flights that do exist and then saying we couldn’t stop these people from flying in if they fly in indirectly to other countries.
I do not give yes or no answers...never have...never will.
I tend to write books...or at least chapters..
But go ahead, don’t let me stop you from filling out your list. I have lists too..
“The bottom line is that a major step that can be taken in order to keep AMERICANS safe is to prevent Liberians and people from badly affected countries out of the USA by any and all means at our disposal. Do you agree?”
I think I mentioned it....but I believe I said that I don’t think we can keep them out...but we can put them in quarantine. I suggested a cruise ship or two.
So if you just want a yes or no answer, I can’t give you one because I agree in part and in principle..
Perhaps severe vertigo? I had that once, only once, and was immobilized, couldn’t move my head, everything was spinning, and was definitely nauseated.
Family doc checked my eye, and said it was a bad case of vertigo, because my eyes were jumping back and forth, called it “nystigmas”, and a major tell-tale symptom of severe Vertigo.
Anyone leaving that area will have f’ing stamp on their passport.
From that you flag it and interview them. If their story checks out, (they may have only arrived for a day meeting) you make the determination to (not voluntarily) quarantine them when they get to the US..
Got it...or you want me to write another book.
Yeah...sounds like what I had last year.
Good for you for doing that. You’ve done your family well.
Yeah, somebody posted it on twitter earlier tonight.
That photo explains a lot of things. The REAL Obama that was elected (Nobel prize winner, Harvard scholar, changer of seas,...) was kidnapped and sent to Liberia, and replaced with the idiot imposter that occupies the golf courses now.
Shocking.
What is this a FR gang bang?
Sounds like fun...Can everyone play?
The flight data can from Wikipedia, it was the latest data I had. I was not aware of the daily JFK flight that materializes in Liberia every day and flies to JFK..Enroute now apparently.(red eye)
I said you cannot keep the plane from entering US airspace, or have the flight cancelled as some have opined. I suppose you can ask Belgium to turn them away...but that's not gonna happen. These people have Visas.
We either don't issue the VISA or we quarantine them.
Is that clear? Probably not....because to you, (if I am right) this is all about immigration. Not ebola..
Lots of power failures around Dallas from the storms, that part is correct.
What difference does it make?
Been fun. said all I came to say, unless you want to discuss the Ebola virus and it’s construction, it’s capability, and how we might exploit it’s weaknesses..to defeat it..
That’s about all I am interested in these days, or we can talk stocks...long/short..I don’t like options.
Other than that. I think I am done explaining. See you around..
Some material on ebola (university studies) have said that during certain phases of the ebola transmittable period (symptomatic), those ill with ebola may have NO FEVER present for a time period.
This flight to Newark is the tip-off for the master plan. Many unaccompanied minors? Who came to pick them up? Where will they go?
NYC has a large Liberian population. I can see all these kids going to public schools in NYC this week and spreading ebola virus generously around the school buildings.
Way to go, Obama!
Yes we can keep them all out, or nearly all of them out if we only have the will to do so. There's nearly no way Africans can get here save for flying in with valid documentation. That could be remedied in a nanosecond if we had the proper leadership.
If we can't even keep them out of the country, how on earth do you figure we can get them all on your "cruise ship?"
You sound old enough to have acquired at least some degree of wisdom. From the way so many others here are responding to you, wouldn't you don't think you're being somewhat obtuse and actually taking away from what you have to add to the discussion?
Yeah, just caught your post...
I don’t know too much of the specifics of that, but it could be due to the fact that Ebola tricks a persons immune system by using (hope I spell this right) it’s Cytokines (which are produced to attack ebola) against the host.
It’s not exactly like the cytokine storm, which the 1918 flu used to kill it’s hosts, it’s actually more devious where the immune system actually helps the virus break through the blood vessel walls so that it can invade the bodies tissues which was the goal. Once that is done, the host will start shedding virus because it’s no longer contained in the circulatory system.
While it is doing this it invades another cell of the immune system that apparently negates the production of cytokines so that the virus is not attacked and perhaps this is why the fever reduces for a time, or until death.
I find it interesting that we don’t yet know why many people survive...exactly..
I think it must have something to do with their immune responses. perhaps the virus just can control it like it wants to.
Anyway, I am fascinated by it,, I guess I don’t have enough to do,,these days. (retired)
But it’s amazing how this virus works,,
I suggest she stay home for awhile, in case that dude is tested again, and it comes up positive.
