Dallas County DA Craig Watkins office is looking into the possibility of filing charges against the Liberian man that brought the first case of Ebola into the United States. Authorities in both the U.S. and Liberia are investigating whether Thomas Eric Duncan knew he had been exposed to the Ebola virus before traveling to Dallas. If thats the case then District Attorney Craig Watkins says the state crime of aggravated assault may come into play for exposing others to the Ebola virus. Youre Welcome, Alamo-Girl!
I see we have another reading/interpreting what was said challenged person on the FR forum.
I'll go slow for you.
I questioned one's absolute statement about how they would absolutely do the high-minded things they claim they would do. I make the assertion that, until one actually is in the situation where they have to make the decision, all bets are off - you don't know for sure until it happens to you.
I used that to assert that, whatever they thought about the guy, their opinion was invalid unless they were ever in the same situation. They could not look down their noses at someone else's actions unless they have personal experience, of the same level, where they made the right choice (in this case to die so others might not get sick).
I even mentioned that, having never gone through the same situation, I could only hope I would do the right thing, I feel like I would, but I don't know for sure because, unlike many holier-than-thous, I understand the Human condition enough to know that all bets are off until SHTF.
You can take your dime store halo, your fake judges robe, and your faux-pious attitude and find someone else to sneer at. You obviously have less logic than you accuse me of having. Cute dog GIF though - does it help you win arguments where you really have no expertise?
And since you included me along with BeadCounter, I'll respond by pasting what I sent him.

NOW, BACK TO JUST YOU: How hard is it to read what is actually written vs. just seeing the words that allow one to get high-and-mighty indignant? How stupid does one need to be to not be capable of reading clear intent/meaning and still come up with a whole different "understanding"?
There are some here that make me feel like we're playing the kid's game "telephone" because so many garble what is said to fit their own good impression of them-self. No wonder we are sunk on the political side - so many idiots on our side that the Dims start to look smart.
