I very much agree with you and the reason for this is because O'Reilly now has a credible place to say that Obama told him what Obama knew were bald-faced lies straight to his face and in front of millions of pre-SuperBowl game viewers on national TV last winter.
It was no small venue nor small event, and O'Reilly will not provide any quarter to guests who flat out lie to him.
It's a pride thing for O'Reilly. As you say, ...he is serving a good purpose here.
He pisses a lot of us off as he plays devil's advocate on things sometimes in order to let a guest make their case without looking like O'Reilly s just feeding his guest the lines.
Notice how Hannity on Thursday night was receiving some long delayed high praise from of all people - Dick Morris -- this week when Morris openly confessed to Hannity that he was right all along to go after Ayers and Wright vis a vis Obama's 1st Presidential run.
I think Hannity will be inclined to go full bore on Obama once we are past the election, we win, and if Zullo and Arpaio finally make the splash we have been awaiting since Breitbart was off-ed.

There is no impeachment for someone who attained office fraudulently. They are simply removed. Biden however might have to go as well since we vote for a ticket and no longer vote for a VP. So we may end up with a cry baby in the WH.

If O’Reilly wants to hit a home run he will go after Obama after the election in Nov. O’Reilly has been putting everything in place and continues to repeat how fair he’s been to Obama, etc. I think he’s going to hit him hard. Resign or be impeached. O’Reilly’s ego will dictate that he won’t back down.
And I think you read Hannity perfectly. Hannity shows how much he detests him.
Let’s hope they both do it properly and stay safe.

Tyrants never have good endings. Never. Usually they do something to make their demise worse. Obama will do something to insure his fate.
For example, supposedly, the women's vote depends a lot on how safe women feel with the president or with the potential wannabe president in charge.
So, ladies, just how safe do you feel in your world right now with Barrack Hussein obama in charge of it?
With only the wide open border alone, how many threats to a woman's safety do we have?
Are you safe from terror? Safe from getting beheaded, like that woman in OK? Safe from ebola? Safe from illegal alien drunk drivers, thieves and rapists? Safe from losing your job, benefits, healthcare? How about your kid's safety, safety at school? Do you feel safe and secure or insecure about your future? Your family's, your children's, your nation's, etc.??
My guess is, the less safe women feel right now, the more open they'll be to finally learning unsavory things about the one in charge of their safety, the things they refused to see or hear when they were in the hot and heavy infatuation stage of their relationship with Barrack.
Sorta reassuring to watch unfold in a way. That thing about what happens after pride and after a haughty spirit is slowly having its way with Barry obama and the nation who arrogantly and naively voted for him.
