A retired black marine works for my husband, a pretty great guy but liberal as they come. He stopped at our house the other night and told us he had left his CADILLAC car keys in Lowes and someone had turned them in to the front desk. When he went in to get them, the manager asked for his ID before giving them to him. He was ranting to us about it, he felt they were targeting him because he was black and couldn’t possibly be driving a new Cadillac. I said, “David, why does something always have to be about your color, maybe that was just their policy.” He said, it is always about being black, blah, blah, blah.
I wonder how many more generations it will be before the inferiority complex is bred out of them.
...and if they gave him thekeys right away, it would have been, “oh, you just assumed since I’m black, its gotta be my cadillac.” I get it, I’ve a friend who’s like that. Great family man, hard worker, hates paying taxes, church guy, but always looking for offense when there is none. I always tell him sometimes a spade is a spade....its not some grand conspiracy
Question...Why do you still have liberal friends......this is always their reaction to everything!!! Not saying there is anything wrong with it.....but it certainly gets tiresome.
