Politico initially reported in August of 2009 that the Obama administration examined Bush administration 2005 quarantine regulations, which were criticized by civil liberty advocates.
In April 2010, Politico reported the administration quietly dumped quarantine rules that would have required air passengers to submit more information to airlines and strengthened the government's authority to detain travelers suspected of carrying disease.

They won’t be asked and most people will never know.
FReepers are individuals so of course there will be some differing opinions on some subjects. I don’t like infringement on our liberty, but if the gov’t needs to quarantine a few people to prevent spread of a killer disease to all the people, then they should.
They should start out protecting our citizens by not letting people from other countries enter this country if they came from an area where the disease is present.
