Seriously. I know people like this.

Once or twice a day they meander (they don’t move very fast) to the local quickie mart and meander over to the buffet counter and order a sack full of food.

Quickie mart buffets around here take EBT.

They shuffle back home and eat on that food until it’s gone.

Then they go out and get more.

It’s not that the apartment doesn’t have a stove or refrigerator. Or that they don’t know how to use them. Why should they use them? It’s free, swipe yo EBT.

My sister and her family live in Chicago. People pride themselves on shopping for their meals daily, and how great it is. Most can’t cook.

My brother in law is an excellent cook, and is well stocked for food, but that is the exception.
