The janitors at our school would not come in to work!
A school janitor talked about this during Sunday School last week. He said he and his co-workers had discussed this and would all work overtime if Ebola took root in our community. As he put it, it's not like there is a risk from airborne once the kids are gone and the custodians are working in their own areas of the school. He'd put on rubber gloves, break out the bleach, and wipe down every stair rail, door knob, desk, chair, pencil sharpener, locker, and everything else he could find that kids might touch. It was a point of pride that he would make sure the kids were as safe as he could make them, and I'm convinced that is exactly what he would do.
