Our most ancient ancestors were battling climate change to survive droughts, freezing and flooding.
And now a growing number of scientists believe that shifts in the Earths climate are responsible for creating some of our most distinctive characteristics.
Their research suggests that large evolutionary leaps, such as the development of our bigger brains and ability to create and use complex tools, coincided with periods of volatile climate change.

Used to be you had to go on missionary trips in the rainforest or Africa to see primitives with bones in their noses! Today all you have to do is go for coffee! A very poignant observation!

...we are one of the most adaptable species ever to live on the face of the planet. That we are! Amen! We've even got insects beat. But humans, on the other hand, have been around for about half an hour compared to the hundreds of millions of years bugs have been around, churning through two or three generations for every human year! Imagine what 200 million years looks like to a bug!

If the oceans rise and you live on the beach, you must climb it. Thats how you deal with climb it change.I've seen seagulls do that. I guess even a birdbrain can deal with a change in climate.
