Ah, there's a little side-channel communication going on: on the thread it's been asserted multiple times that voting third-party is the same as staying at home is the same as *gasp!* voting for the other guy

There's also a fair number saying that they cannot vote for another Romney and would vote third party instead; all of this taken together (esp. considering the article, which blames the voters instead of acknowledging that Romney alienated a lot of people) is what lead me to post that [rather creepy] bit/oath from the Sword of Truth books. I find it accurately describes how the Republican-party wishes to be thought of, being that they are statists.
