NATIONAL REVIEW

God save us from self-professed "conservatives" who will announce they'll stay home on Election Day as a demonstration of their power.
Because as we all know, you become more influential in politics and government and public life by staying home and doing less.
....
Does the "I'm staying home" crowd apply this to everything in life? "I don't like the way the company is run, so I'm not going to work."
"Honey, I'm just not happy with your performance as a spouse, so I'm going to be less active in the marriage until you improve."
"Kids, I'm disappointed with your performance in school. Until you improve, I'm ignoring you."
The thing is, I wonder how often the "I'm staying home this year" crowd voted before. In fact, I wonder if they ever vote.
I don't understand the "I've never been more fearful for the future of this country, but I'm not willing to do anything about it" mentality.
Ronald Reagan is not walking through that door, folks.

Not accepted. But its nice to know that the GOPe wing is every bit the Democrats they appear to be.
Nah, let the lurkers see that the GOPE sycophants have to resort to that when they can’t argue fact. Doesn’t hurt my feelings to be called names by cheshire frauds.
OK, you two percenters just carry on.
The rest of the Nation understands the urgency of ditching the Democrats.
Homophobe ;)
A couple of bright spots in Connecticut are the retirements of Cafero and McKinney.
What about New Hampshire CD 1 Frank Giunta and CD 2 Marilinda Garcia (lovely, youngish, pro-life, half Hispanic/half Italian and apparently thoroughly conservative)? Garcia teaches harp music when she is not protecting citizens in the state legislature. I don't think she is married. She almost has to be Catholic. You should get up to Coos County or wherever she is headquartered and meet her before it is too late.
You have a point. They hurt themselves by engaging in that sort of behavior.
I actually love queers. In fact, I am queer.
What I despise is FR Harry Reid Fan Club members.
They are what they are. Liberals to the core. Just look at this thread. They refuse to debate records. Refuse to debate outcomes. Refuse to admit documented history. All they have is Alynski.
And a script that’s 30 years old.
They hurt themselves more than us. But if they really believed in conservatism they would fight with us/alongside us. Instead, they fight for moderation lesser evil and the no matter what mentality.
they are who they appear to be.
Is Bill Cotter still active in Boston, Massachusetts? He ran Operation Rescue there and was close to MCFL. He is probably in his 60s and is the best natural born politician I ever met in pro-life circles. He had the Boston police union publicly praising him in the newspapers and apologizing for arresting pro-lifers some time around the late 1980s.
What’s that joke about Texas? I guess it must be partly true then. Sorry, rest of Texas. We know this lib isn’t your fault.
You are the joke of FR.
At least hit me with your purse or something.
Hell we have self admitted gay freepers coming out of the closet on this thread and demanding we elect GOPe libs!
The agenda is here too now it seems.
Well then, why all the vitriol against principled Conservatives on a CONSERVATIVE forum if we are only 2% of the population?
Why all the snark about those of us who will never again vote for a liberal Republican REGARDLESS what election cycle it is?
Why all the hand-wringing and worrying about Reid remaining in charge of the Senate if Principled Conservatives are only 2% of your party?
Go pander to Mexican Nationals and 'moderates' for whatever votes your party needs if you are want your party bosses in charge of expanding government.
Principled Conservatives are only 2% according to you - so no worries for you and yours is there?
Good luck without us.
See post 427 for the answer. Someone has another agenda
Given Haley Boss Hogg Barbour's shenanigans and Thad Cockroach's obvious case of advanced senility, would you vote for Cockroach to reward Barbour and give him a prompt vacancy into which he can muscle one of his nephews? I wouldn't. Travis Childers is pro-life, pro-gun, pro-America even as a Democrat. Cockroach probably couldn't define any of those terms much less live up to them.
We will punish the RINOs of the GOP-E at EVERY opportunity. In American politics, it is job #1 and will be until the very last one is strangled politically.
Voting for the "most conservative candidate available" is a prescription for serious trouble by way of the advancing issue degeneracy of the GOP and, therefore, of the USA. If there is one thing that Bill Buckley should never have said, that's the one.
I confused Daly with some other clergyman who skipped 2012, first time ever.
Daly has probably never voted for a Republican. Not even his parishioner Len, when Daly was in Meriden. Daly was in the Gaffey clique. But the fact he was only voted in one primary ever disproves the theory that he’s a genuine leftist operative. He’s just a silly man.

I’ve been told that I am engaged.
