It will become “normal”; as everyone in the area around gibsmedats nails everything down, we’re seeing an increase in home-invasion type robberies because they probably have a better return (forcing people to draw money through ATM cards and such).

Don't think so. Even the gibsmedats know that's a good way to get shot.

Expect more crime in the suburban malls and shopping centers. Flash mob shoplifting sprees. Stuff like that. More return, less risk.

Malls and shopping centers have resources to protect their assets that many families don’t have; in the NYC metro area much of the population is disarmed. Our gibsmedats don’t have to fear armed victims.
