House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) talks to a lot of people in the course of doing his job, but for some reason, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) isnt one of them, how very curious.
Ive not talked to him since hes been elected, Boehner revealed in an interview with the Cincinnati Enquirer, and left it at that. Cruz was elected in 2012 and played a major role in recent events that threatened to derail Boehners agenda, like the times Cruz attempted to hijack down the federal government over Obamacare, the debt ceiling, border patrol, etc.
Boehner didnt elaborate further, according to the wide-ranging interview, but did admit that he had at least one best friend in the Senate:
[Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell] and I could not be closer, Boehner said. We understand each other very well.
Its like a contentious divorce with a trillion-dollar alimony thats taking place in a high school.
I haven’t listened to Boehner since he became the truly lousy Speaker of the House.
If the Pubs win the Senate, I’m really hoping McConnell is replaced with someone that has a backbone!
I’d like to see Louie Gohmert replace Boehner as Speaker, as he’s a no-nonsense type who appreciates the Constitution and want put up with liberal BS.
That’s ok John Boehner about you ignoring Ted Cruz the last two years ..... because I’ve done likewise to EVERY GOP-E fund raising letter or e-mail that I’ve recieved in the last Five years ....
ooops! ...want should have been WONT
Does not meet with other members of his party in the House?
Who does he think he is? obama?
The Boehner-McConnell Marriage is just sad for America
gots to wonder what dirt obammy has on boehner cause he’s obviously been neutered.
