I’d put the odds on the low end of them listening to the People at this point.
What have you done to change to change those odds? I just contacted my reps via the Internet and will follow up later with phone calls.

I try to understand Oh, how I try to understand. Have cried tears enough to fill a river when my representative and senators have refused to listen. Little to no response but I do have a river of tears. No offense meant Oh. I understand though and a refusal to surrender is a good thing. Kudos!
