Its not transmitted by mosquito. If it were Africa would have ceased to exist thousands of years ago.

It only takes one mosquito bite in the several days the victim was here. Does CDC track mosquitos, now? Yes, it is how malaria (which used to be endemic in this country) is eradicated each time it is reimported.
