I am still trying to figure out how a marine is expected to kill an Ebola? I didn’t think small arms fire, artillery or heavy armor would do much to stop this attack.
It’s been in the news and on these threads for many weeks now, what do you think their mission is?
They are supposed to shoot anyyone who tries to break through quarantine lines. Then the sick people will be forced to buy a ticket and fly to the US. I can't think of any other mission.
And anyway, Africa is not short of people of military age. They certainly can find 3,000 reservists or something. There is no justification for sending US troops into a land that they know nothing about and have no chance to learn, as contacts with locals are potentially deadly.
