The potential Ebola patient's test results are not in yet, but are expected later Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday evening. CDC personnel are on their way to Dallas in case either of the two samples from the patient being screened are positive for Ebola. If the test was to come back positive, the CDC would lead any actions necessary, with the county providing support, Thompson said.

OMG.
I just had a chill up my spine.
Nothing spreads a Ebola faster than an air plane.
And if he does, let's hope they're all marxists.
Yes. Have had patients this afternoon so have been unable to watch very closely. People coming in are concerned , to say the least. All in my office and most of our patients have doctors in the professional buildings that are attached to the hospital. CDC to hold news conference this afternoon.
Ok, there’s a flight from Roberts to Brussels and a direct one from Brussels to Dallas.
I’m gonna bet money that’s the route he took. Only one hop.
If he stayed on Brussels Air, it was a Boeing 767-300, according to travelocity.
That’s what I’m thinking.. drove from Liberia to Lagos, flew to Houston then Dallas.
Thank you for your eye-witness reporting.
You can be sure every ER in the country is having a meeting right now.
“You can be sure every ER in the country is having a meeting right now.”
You are much more optimistic than I am!
We've been working this up for 3 weeks, and I have not yet run a full scenario where everything doesn't grind to a halt in a few days.
I'm glad the live drill is being run somewhere else. If this hospital is opertaing at full capacity in a week, I will say that I was wrong.

Press conference scheduled for 5:30 EDT. Been looking for a link to post here. Anyone have one yet for CDC press conference?
No link, but I bet you they talk about not discriminating in the first two minutes.
Only problem is Texas really IS the friendly state. We shake hands all day, don’t wear masks or gloves, and travel a LOT.
If anybody else is infected, it will pop up along the IH-35 corridor, and IH-45 in Houston.
Scary.
My wife works in hospital admin. She is on their emergency team. She tells me they have been getting more general information over the past month. In her case it has been coming from the state.
But, in general, they have been keeping any plans very low key.
In fact, if not for me talking about it she probably wouldn’t have noticed the notices in with all of the other flu stuff that has been being pumped out lately (it’s the season for flu shots.)
Am currently reading conflicting reports. The report am reading says the CDC held their press conference at 4:30 EDT in Atlanta. Report also says there will be a press conference at Dallas hospital at 5:30. Conflicting reports are starting to surface.
FNC is waiting for the CDC to start speaking.
