Clearly speaking a pleasantry, I don't find sweetheart any more demeaning in this case than a waitress calling me honey or sugar, or sweetheart. Why doesn't warren help him out by telling him the proper term is Squaw.

In the last week, a female called me “sweetie,” another called me “doll” when I assisted her with directions and another said “hun (as in honey)” when I was a penny short on an item that cost $2.02. I told her I’d return with the penny the next day. :-)

I have been violated. Dizzie Miss Lizzie...help me!!!!
