God wants you well. This is NOT His will for your life. Do NOT accept this sickness. Believe in the finished work of Jesus. He Paid for your healing on the Cross of Calvary. Do NOT let your mind even consider being defeated by this disease. You (because of Jesus) do the defeating. You be victorious through Jesus. He is your Healer. Imagine yourself living in health and strength all of your days. Do Not allow yourself to even consider letting this sickness stay with you. Reject it. Rebuke it. Reject this diagnosis. Rebuke all symptoms daily and tell them they must leave in the Name of Jesus. See yourself walking in health. You can do it because Christ has already done it. God bless you with courage and the desire to live as Jesus wants you to live-—in victory and in the power and authority of Jesus Christ given to you as a believer. I’m rooting for you and praying for you.

A facebook update from Mrs DD ...

Quick update on Dave - Monday we went to Palo Alto, getting to be one of our frequent travel destinations! Assisted Technology measured him for a wheelchair - he had a good time test driving one. The chair reclines and does other amazing things. It will also raise 8" so it will be easier to get out of the chair. Right now, he has a difficult time rising out of regular chairs. He should be getting it within a month. Then we saw the Speech Therapist. He tested out different ipads, and they will be ordering one for him, which can be hooked up to his chair, and has internet connection. Then we hustled to the PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) appointment. They did a 40 minute test on his breathing. Side note: the receptionist shouldn't be working with the public. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr The all-knowing receptionist told us this test is not for his (lack of) breathing at night, just for daytime. During the night, he has trouble breathing and wakes up several times to sit on the bed so he can breathe. (We've been trying to get a BIPAP machine to breathe easier at night, and have not been successful). So she said he might get oxygen for daytime use and I said, great, we'll use it for night too! At any rate, I talked to VA's neurologist assistant yesterday, and she said this breathing test was for the whole night/daytime breathing. In the meantime, I've also made contact with VA Driver Rehab/Evaluation....they will take his measurements for a wheelchair equipped van and direct us in the right direction. I was told vans would be brought to our house to check out. Dave's next appointment is Nov 5 for breathing results with a doctor. Then on Nov 10, he has appointment with gastro doctor, regarding a Peg Tube (?) for nourishment. His right side continues to get weaker, but he's in good spirits! That's all for now. Love you!

Thank you all for your continued prayers.
