Your observation that "we are the only ones since the year 3500 BC who separate sex form birth, and marriage from sex" strikes me as, well, not entirely accurate. Perhaps the more precise term for it would be disingenuous.
Do you really imagine that those of the current generation "are the only ones since the year 3500 BC" to have sexual relations outside of marriage? Or to have sexual relations for reasons other than a desire to reproduce?
Name another society that claimed to be following the laws of God, who, as a society, accepted sex as a recreational activity, the majority of whom, in childbearing years, practiced pharmaceutical, surgical birth control, routinely resorting to abortion, and who accepted sex outside of marriage as completely acceptable
Just mentioning the truths of what goes on incurs such wrath and mob rule that it’s not possible to get to a reasonable discussion on this
I am not being disingenuous
Do you have any clue the kinds of numbers you are talking about?
People think that we, as a country, can oversee 1.3 million abortions yearly in this country and that we don’t have to look at the cause and effect
You don’t think it is a unique mentality in contemporary society to have an acceptable killing of 54 million innocents?
