Oklahoma has had a “problem” with converts for quite awhile.
October 1 2005 convert Joel Hinrichs backpack blew up outside the OU/KS game. He was denied entry several times because security was looking for alcohol and Joel didn't want anyone looking in his bag, lucky them. The stone bench he was sitting on vaporized along with him and the blast tripped seismographs. His Pakistani roommate disappeared and the FBI had to use a tractor trailer to haul his goodies. The local Muslim community denied any connections with Islam and the FBI maintained “Nothing to see move along”
