The urge to self-destruction runs strong in the USA these days.
Strangely, the only justification I can think of for giving in-state tuition to illegals is that they are more citizens of the state than out-of-state US legal citizens. But, if that’s the case, let’s have less federal control, less federal contribution, and more home rule.
Sure, there is. Just keep raising taxes on the US citizens.
