Sarah Palin urges conservatives to rally around Pat Roberts

When Pat Roberts faced a conservative primary challenge this summer, he did what most Republican senators have learned to do: turn hard right. Now, facing an unexpectedly strong independent challenge, Roberts is doubling down.
On Thursday, the three-term Kansas senator turned to tea party darling Sarah Palin to rally voters behind his flagging campaign. The former Alaska governor praised Roberts for standing with Sen. Ted Cruz a year ago during his marathon floor speech against President Obama's healthcare law, which preceded a strategy that resulted in a government shutdown.
"He [was] one of the few senators fulfilling campaign promises, doing what the American people asked him to do, standing there on the floor with Sen. Ted Cruz to do what they could to get rid of Obamacare," Palin said.

Get down off your pharisaical high horse before you further embarrass yourself or get struck by lightning. Your accusations of sodomy and murdering babies is embarrassing, and just as much of a sin as anything you mentioned....with your lies and your bitterness and your phony self righteousness and astonishing pharisee pride.
Romney on Gay Adoption - May, 2012
"My position has been clear throughout this campaign," Romney said. "I'm in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother."
Romney on Gays in the Boy Scouts - August 2012
Tovia Smith of WBUR radio in Boston asked Romney during an October 1994 debate, Mr. Romney, you say youre a moderate on social issues, one who will defend abortion rights, equal rights for women, for blacks and for gays -- in fact, you say you will do more to promote gay rights than Senator Kennedy.
Smith continued, You also sit on the national Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America, which has an exclusionary policy banning gay members. Do you support that policy and, if not, have you ever done anything as a board member to oppose it?
Romney said, I believe that the Boy Scouts of America does a wonderful service for this country. I support the right of the Boy Scouts of America to decide what it wants to do on that issue. I feel that all people should be allowed to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation.
Romney campaign spokesperson Andrea Saul confirmed to the Associated Press on Aug. 5 that Romney maintains the position he took back in 1994.
When asked for direct confirmation that Gov. Romney maintains the same position he held in 1994, the Romney campaign referred CNSNews.com to several past quotations regarding Romneys opposition to the ban, including that of the 1994 debate.
Romney IS the FATHER of Gay Marriage in America
While Governor of MA, he unconstitutionally implemented Gay Marriage WITHOUT the legislature EVEN THOUGH he was warned by many conservatives that it was illegal and unconstitutional under the MA Constitution which clearly states that all matters concerning marriage must originate in the Legislature.
Romney on Gays in the Military
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney said he has no intention of reversing the ban on homosexuals serving openly in the military if elected president.
Romney was asked, How do you feel about gays serving openly in the military? by The Des Moines Register in an editorial meeting in early November, before the newspaper endorsed him.
Thats already occurred. Im not planning on reversing that at this stage, answered Romney. When asked if he was comfortable with the new policy, Romney tried to explain his response.
I was not comfortable with making the change during a period of conflict, by virtue of the complicating features of a new program in the middle of two wars going on, he said. But those wars are winding down, and moving to that direction at this stage no longer presents a problem.
The discussion was about a policy known as Dont Ask, Dont Tell, which barred homosexuals serving in the armed services from disclosing their sexual orientation, and military officials from asking. The policy was first established in 1993 under President Bill Clinton, and reversed last December by President Obama by executive order.
Romney has often been criticized for flip-flopping on controversial issues, and the DADT policy is no exception.

Allow me to suggest you stop over thinking this, and stop thinking the universe is run in smoke filled rooms by a small cadre of dark shady power brokers. The idea that Romney was in on it with the McCain campaign?
Sorry, with due respect, that doesn’t fly.

Is Jesus a purist? Yes, but he does not expect us to be....besides
Well, I don't know about that:
I Peter: 13-21 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
So, not only are you wrong concerning purism, and God's requirements for us as well, but are you really going to apply that purist tag to an Apostle of Jesus Christ?

idiot....were we talking about Mitt Romneys campaign?????
Your Previous post:
You know your own tag line undermines your point on this. As you state, poisons have different potencies. But for most, a little bit of it is a good thing. You know, like iron, etc.
Not a perfect analogy, but you do shoot yourself in the purist foot with that tagline. I would suggest changing it.
You start your conversation with me by referencing my tagline which directly references Romney, and then try to change directions?
Now who really is the idiot?

But I didn’t mention Romney did I? I was talking about the baseline theory.
Look one of us has more cred on fighting the RINO’s and the establishment than the other - and maybe that cred comes in by knowing when and where it’s time to take a stand. you cannot die on every hill. This thread is about Roberts. This is not a hill to die on. And yet, you apparently think it is.
And Mitt still lives rent free in your head.
To: VRWC For Truth
So you’re calling Sarah Palin a RINO.
Thanks for clarifying how your brain works, or doesn’t work.

You know, I'm not really impressed by people who have to blow their own horn.
Is does nothing to prove your point.

Wrong. That is just what the GOPe wants. They are tearing the Tea party up and ALL it takes is a few words and we are right back at doing what our masters want us to do. The GOPe is killing conservatism faster than we could have dreamed. If we don’t get rid of them, the GOP will die and take conservatism with it.
NOTHING is replacing us. Nothing. Demographics ensure our end. We must be radical in cutting out this cancer.
To: C. Edmund Wright

Nawww,
Unlike you, I don't want the GOP-E to be in control of anything and will do my best to destroy them in any manner I can.
I'm not into strategy, or compromise on principles, and I don't vote the lessor of two evils anymore.
I'll leave the compromising on core principles to more Erudite individuals such as yourself.
