It appears to me that after being shot by officer 1 Crawford dropped the gun and went back behind the endcap over to the isle on the left to get away from getting shot again. Crawford then saw cop 2 coming up the left isle getting ready to shoot so Crawford runs back in the direction of where he had dropped the gun. Even though Crawford did not reach for anything cop 1 appears to shot again an finish him off. IMO very poor police work and at a minimum manslaughter by the cops.
No, that isn’t it, you keep making up things, and when Ritchie did claim it was happening, and we (including you) can clearly see it wasn’t, it wasn’t happening, Ritchie recanted his false claim.
“In an interview with the U.K. newspaper The Guardian, Ritchie says DeWine’s office showed him the video of Crawford’s killing, and he recants his claim during the 911 call and to reporters after the incident that Crawford was threatening other customers.”
“One month later, Ritchie puts it differently. At no point did he shoulder the rifle and point it at somebody, the 24-year-old said, in an interview with the Guardian.”
Is this true, or accurate?
“The Crawford familys attorneys contend that Ohios open-carry law means that he could have been legally holding the rifle in the store even if it had been a full-powered firearm. We never saw him waving this rifle in front of kids or people, said his father.”
I’m sorry. Due to an unusually high volume of trollish posts on FR, I am not able to respond immediately.

The irony is that the 911 caller expressed so much concern for the woman in the aisle with the kids.
Yet, according to other websites out there, that’s the woman who collapsed and died after police opened fire.
So, the woman and her children had more to fear from the 911 caller than the guy shopping with the air rifle.
This is just one of those stories that makes you think about all the things that could go wrong in an otherwise normal day.
We need the phone conversation and what was being said....
Note the guy didn’t “Shop” for the gun...he went right for it and then moved to the secluded aisle without blinking....
Take a look at 207 post....another video showing him going directly for where the gun was and picking it up...
...all the while in contact with someone on the phone...further once he has it in hand he’s off right away to the secluded area.....
This was no “Shopper” nor kid playing with a gun....there’s a whole lot more to this which would be interesting to have the phone conversation...
You have a vivid imagination. Are you afraid of monsters under your bed, too?
We should outlaw Wal-Mart then.
You’ve of course missed my point...might be good to go back thread and stay with topic.
Mother of Crawford
Ummm, swinging a gun around in a store IS a threat. Was the guy retarded? Mental problems? Think back on your own life Jonty30 - have you EVER been in a store with some guy swinging a gun around? EVER? Me either...
Swinging guns around in public is not how sane people act. You know that... Police have to take into account. If they didn’t there would be a lot more murders in the country.
