I understand that copies printed in the Sixties had this dedication removed, because they didn't want to alienate priests and ministers who were filling the roles of "Useful Idiots".
I think they put the dedication to Lucifer back in when they thought it was safe to do so in later editions.
Scum. All of them. I forced myself to read this evil, repulsive, hideous book, and in doing so, I gained a much fuller understanding of the Clintons, the Obamas, Cloward and Piven, and all liberals who worship Alinsky and his work.
Utter BS. She simply doesn't talk about it, and not a single entity of the media (who is in an unspoken collusion-can't let the rubes find out) has brought it up, even though it is well known to people who care to find out. The dopes out there who watch television, read newspapers and Time don't know a single thing about it.
And shame on all of them. All of them.
Sorry. I have read the book, and I will never practice what he preaches.
Never.
It advocates everything my parents taught me never to do.
Perhaps that means I will go down with rest who refuse to adopt their tactics.
But I am going to look my enemy in the eyes, and they will know who I am in the same way I know who they are.
Don't be fooled. They know, and have known. Sure, there is some segment of the media that are ignorant liberal kool-aid drinkers who discount Hillary's (and Bill's, and Obama's) admiration for Alinsky and his tactics as a right-wing creation.
But most of them know, and they can't afford to inform average Americans, many (if not most) who would not agree with or sanction the use of those radical tactics.
They can't afford to sacrifice one yard of ground gained for liberalism simply because they opened their mouths and informed people who might be aghast at those tactics.
I agree that Alinsky’s tactics pre-date him on some level. He gets credit because he was the first to put them down in book form. He was also the first to cite examples of how the tactics work and he pointed out how and why they failed when they failed. It’s a very interesting book in that regard.
