There are no gas lines in Hollis , NH at present. Hollis is one of the most affluent towns in NH. It is still very rural in many ways. There is still a lot of farmland in town. There is only one gas line running west out of Nashua to Milford. The main trunk line runs north and south from Nashua up to Manchester and ends in Concord. There is another line that runs from Maine down along route 1 through NH into Mass.
The lack of natural gas is the problem here in southern NH. Why they voted the way they did is not clear to me. I live in the town just to the north side of there. There are many rich people and large land owners that live there. It is the town immediately west of Nashua on the Mass border.
They voted that way because they are nonthinking zombies whose liberal ignorance trumps reality every time. It will be interesting if they freeze during upcoming winters. Maybe they vare banking of gloBULL warming to save them.
