Eliminating Death....maybe not so much
If there were treatments that stopped progressive diseases and stopped the genetic aging cycle of the human body bringing about very long life it would be a game changer in one sense. During the initial generation where it became available, the cost and locations for availability would make economic access and political control really change what individuals strive for in their working life.
The economic and power struggles of individuals would greatly increase with a less finite life available to those winning the struggle.
