Conservative activists who planned to protest against illegal immigration and President Obama’s immigration policies on Saturday said they had canceled all events after receiving death threats from Mexican drug cartels.
Activists had planned to use vehicles as barricades to shut down border crossings at 17 locations in four states—Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas. But the event, called Shut Down All Ports of Entry, was canceled early on Saturday morning by organizer Stasyi Barth, who said she had received the threats.
In August, a similar protest was canceled after organizers claimed they had been threatened by Mexican drug cartels. The organizer of that 30-vehicle “Border Convoy”, Eric Odom, canceled a rally meant for El Paso in Texas, but did not specify which cartel might have threatened his group. …

The threats most likely came from Eric Himmler Holder and the un-Justice Department.
I’ll bet Holder has his connection with the cartels, as do a lot of other politicians in Washington.
Next time they ought to not so pointedly disinvite the -armed- militia to participate.

Just threatening the US citizens that Americans couldn’t be bothered to threaten.
Time for the militia to step up and provide security for the protests.

Some folks have family to consider.
The cartels aren’t sitting across the canyon waiting to do battle.
They know who the protest leaders are and where they live.
If militia were allowed to participate, they might not be so afraid.

Well now, if you’ve got drug cartels threatening your life, it would be rather STUPID not to be armed.
My thoughts exactly. Let the militia step up and do it. I don’t think a few drug cartel threats will stop them.
It’s another good reason why we need to secure the border. These are criminals and foreigners come to tyrannize American citizens along the border (and across the country if we don’t stop them). They kill people in horrific ways to set fear in the minds of the citizenry. The US govt has an obligation to intervene and all they do is sit on their fat arses. The border with Mexico should be militarized.
I can guarantee you the threats are not coming from mexican drug cartels and are instead coming from the Obama administration.
