My kid lives 10-15 min from there, currently going to grad school. Some people have relatives in harms way. Think about what you say. I don’t mind if they soil their own nest, but dont want any innocents caught up in the rioting.

If you owned a house in the area, I think I’d maximize the insurance on it...wait for the ‘innocent’ ruling, and let it burn...then collect the money, and leave the burned-out shell of a house and move on (at least a hundred miles a way).
