A fascinating article and a warning for other states with influxes of liberals. There is mention of a book "The Blueprint: How Democrats Won Colorado". The author of the article states that he believes Utah may be next, as well as Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

conservatives eat their own!

That’s only half the story. Liberals have a plan and long term strategy. They’ll lie and they’ll get protected by the MSM and the deep state.

It’s a big fight we’re in.

This is not quite accurate or complete.

McInnis' writing gig was with the Hasan Foundation. Dr. Hasan was an early player in the managed care industry, sold out and made a fortune. He's Republican and he gave a cushy gig to McInnis.

But, Dr. Hasan had a son who wanted to get into Colorado politics. Ali Hasan was running for Treasurer in the primary and his dad wanted McInnis to endorse him, which McInnis refused to do. You know what they say about payback. So, they leaked the plagiarism story to the press.

McInnis could have survived the story, IMHO, but the Tea Party ran an unvetted unknown against McInnis, Dan Maes, who won the primary with just over 50% of the vote. Maes then proceeded to implode. It seemed he was running more because he needed a job than anything else. He had a crazy story about being an undercover cop investigating police corruption in Liberal, Kansas. Turns out the KBI never heard of him. He had been a police offer there, but got fired. He was a disaster, getting barely over 10% of the vote.

Tancredo ran on the Constitution Party ticket, but with Tancredo and Maes splitting the Republican vote, Hickenlooper easily won with only 51% of the vote.

With Tancredo out of the picture, we have a real chance to kick Hick out of office with Bob Beauprez.

Democrats can spread failure like locus, there are only so many of them and they can be driven away.

Also the lands they abandon in rune can be reclaimed.

I was actually BORN in Colo. as was my mother. I left in the 70’s as Californication was just begining. The Libturds crap in their bed and then move where they proceed to repeat the process.

***THEN CAME THE CALIFORNIANS***

40 years ago the biggest selling bumper sticker in Colorado was ...DON’T CALIFORNICATE COLORADO!

Well, now it has been.

Work hard, create a nice state, then Liberals move in and sh*t all over it.

It’s happening everywhere.

I don’t care What Happened to Colorado and Why. Try the same thing in Nevada and I will ignore the handgun restrictions/laws as I have been doing for the past 45 years. I don’t travel unarmed and I am not about to start just because some liberal thinks guns are nasty.

Thank you for that essay.

I spent my 6th through 12th years living in Colorado and it was a great place for a young boy, especially to get away with things. Have had a lot of trouble understanding what happened since 1960 when we weft there.

Red States need to make it impossible to change gun laws in their states. Codify it or lose it.
