Americas immigration system is a mess and reforming it would help the economy, House Speaker John Boehner said Thursday.
Speaking at the American Enterprise Institute about resetting Americas economic foundation Boehner addressed immigration reform when asked by a member of the audience.
Yeah, I think immigration reform would help our economy, but youve got to secure the borders first weve got a mess and I think everybody knows weve got a mess. Our legal system is broken, our borders arent secure. And then weve got the problem of those that are here without documents, Boehner said.
It needs to be fixed, he continued. Were a nation of immigrants. The sooner we do it the better off the country would be.

God help us, he is an idiot. Close the borders and enforce the laws on the books you nit wit.
The quicker Boehner’s 15 minutes is up the better
Keep it up, John. You’re steering your party toward irrelevancy with a firm hand.
No, we’re a nation of LEGAL immigrants. There is a difference, which obviously the GOP-E will not recognize.
With this current state of the GOP, my interest and enthusiasm towards the November elections continues to dwindle to virtual nothingness.
And the continuing budget bill they passed yesterday goes thru part of December, giving them time to pass legislation during the lame duck session, without having to worry about those pesky voters.
Law enforcement is the furthest thing from this a-hole’s mind. He wants “reform” which is essentially amnesty.
For the last 40 years The Party of Government (RINO wing and ‘Rat wing both) has done all it can to replace American voters with Mexicans.
Success is within its grasp.
