Scottish support for staying in the United Kingdom is at 53 percent, a poll by Survation showed just hours before Scots vote on Thursday over whether to declare independence.
The Survation poll for the Daily Record showed Scottish support for independence at 47 percent - slightly lower than several other polls on Wednesday.

I suspect that a lot of the support for the left-wing parties in Scotland would evaporate, in the event of separation. Separatists would have united under one opposition party, to push independence above all else. Also, a lot of Scots might reconsider their support for socialist programs, when they realize what they would have to pay for them.
But will they?
I dont know about you but at sixteen I was not pay much attention to politics and my family was fairly political.
Maybe because this independence thing is really big it is getting a lot of attention in the school more teens will vote but I doubt that it will be a large percentage of 16 to 21 year olds voting.
Why?
The betting markets have the probability of Scotland remaining in the UK at between 79 and 81 percent.
I guess I was wondering if their system allows vote fraud as easily as ours.
