This is not news to me. I had a female neighbor who threw lamps and pans at her boyfriends. They never laid a hand on her. It would be quiet and then I would hear objects hitting the wall and her screaming at him. A few seconds later he would run out of the front door never to be seen again. Then she would find a new boyfriend. Men don’t call the cops, they just leave.
Also, late in life the women are often stronger than their husbands and the husband cannot defend himself or run away.
That's part of the problem. Every man that doesn't press charges when assaulted by a woman is one less showing up in the statistics. That's why the statistics are so lopsided, even though we all know women commit domestic violence as often as men.
It might seem easier in the short term, but the one sided reporting and policies for domestic abuse, not to mention the money taken from our wallets to pay for the one sided policies, are the long term result.
