I thought, how stupid! But that was in the anti-gun days after the murder of Bobby Kennedy when people were giving up their guns to the police.

I keep a Cold Steel spear right next to my door. It is not as good as a pistol but I don’t keep a pistol right next to the door.

I could see me making a mistake and a real agile, strong person grabbing the handle behind the blade and taking it away from me. Still I would rather have it than not.

At one time, I would have been that strong agile person but the years take a toll.
